ALECO posts the outage. We make sure you see it.

Outage Watch reads ALECO’s public advisory page around the clock and pings you when your Albay area is named — while there is still time to do something about it.

When ALECO posts

  1. 6:14 PM

    ALECO publishes

A scheduled interruption for tomorrow, usually an infographic covering several outages at once — different hours, different feeders.

  2. 6:51 PM

    We read it

Our next sweep pulls each outage out of the post separately, with its date, hours, feeders and reason.

  3. 6:51 PM

    You find out

Daraga is one of your areas, so that outage reaches your Telegram — and your phone, if you want a text too.

How ALECO advisories work

ALECO posts scheduled interruptions to its public page, frequently as a single image covering several outages at once. We read each one separately and match it against your areas on its own, so a post announcing four outages produces an alert for the one that is actually yours.

If ALECO does not post it, we cannot catch it. We read what they publish and add nothing of our own.

Not affiliated with any provider. Outage Watch is an independent service. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to any electric cooperative or utility. We read their public advisory pages and tell you when your area is mentioned — we receive no data or feeds from them.

Questions

Are you affiliated with ALECO?

No. Outage Watch is an independent service — not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to ALECO. We watch their public advisory page and tell you when your area is mentioned. We receive no data or feeds from them.

Which Albay areas are covered?

Anywhere ALECO names in an advisory. You choose your own area keywords — a barangay, a street, a landmark, a feeder — and we match them against what the advisory actually says.

What if ALECO does not post an advisory?

Then there is nothing for us to catch. We can only tell you about outages ALECO actually announces.
